When I first met Jeff and Jessica last year I could feel their chemistry. It was clear they understood each other and marriage was something they were both excited about. Jeff and Jessica both arrived early and had separate rooms to get ready in. The girls were busy doing hair and makeup while the guys watched football. Jessica gave Jeff a engraved pocket watch, and Jeff surprised Jessica with a music box and a bracelet. The music box played the song for their first dance.
When the big day finally rolled around, it didn’t feel much like the middle of October. It was unseasonably warm, but still comfortable for everyone to walk downtown for a few pictures with their family and wedding party.
Jeff and Jessica didn’t have many requests for photos, but the ones below were some of my favorites they suggested for their day. Jessica wanted a photo of her with a photo of her mom (I included Dad for a little extra emotion). They also wanted some photos of them together (but not really because they couldn’t see each other) before the ceremony. The anticipation of being able to hold hands and tell each other “I Love You” before the big reveal is always a photographable moment.
The ceremony was held on the rooftop of the Frazier Arms Museum. It was close to sunset and the sun was hitting Jeff right in the face, but he didn’t take his eyes off of Jessica.
After the ceremony there was time for some family photos and pictures of the new Mr and Mrs Kimmel!
I’ve photographed several weddings at the Frazier Museum but this one was unique because the reception was in the Prohibition exhibit, don’t worry plenty of alcohol was served and a good time was had by all!
At the end of the night, Jeff and Jessica had a Rolls Royce waiting for them. They were escorted out surrounded by their family and friends. Now they can begin their Happily Ever After.
